Meet the Doctors

2345_Doctors.jpgObtaining a "Doctor of Chiropractic" (D.C.) degree requires rigorous training.

This includes a pre-chiropractic education that requires either a degree from a four year college or the completion of at least three years (90 of 120 semester credits) of pre-chiropractic study with an intense focus on premedical science courses.

The four year chiropractic curriculum requires more classroom hours (3,065) than a medical curriculum (2,706), and a greater focus on Anatomy-Embryology, Microbiology, Diagnosis, Dermatology, eyes-ears-nose-throat, Neurology, Radiology, and Orthopedics than is required for a M.D.. Additionally the chiropractic education requires an extensive supervised clinical internship.

After receiving a degree from an accredited chiropractic college, all applicants must pass written and oral board exams, at the national and state level, before being granted a license to practice.

All of the doctors at RCO have satisfied the requirements and are licensed as Doctors of Chiropractic in NY.

Each doctor at RCO has also completed the post graduate associate program at RCO. Because of the nature of our associate program we have been able to attract the ‘best and the brightest’ in the profession, including doctors certified in the Gonstead Technique. The staff doctors have been selected from the many who have completed our Associate Program.

The dedicated doctors of RCO work as a team on each case, bringing their unique perspectives and experiences with them for the benefit of each patient.
